Oat Chocolate Chip Cookies





Oat Chocolate Chip Cookies

Only makes about 20. 🍪

Ingredients:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cups rolled oats
1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
In a mixing bowl, cream the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar together until light and fluffy.
Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix until well combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
Stir in the rolled oats and chocolate chips.

Roll or scoop cookie dough into 1-inch balls and place them 2 inches apart on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
