Inspired by this post http://www.omnomicon.com/rainbowcake but I altered it. I just followed the box cake recipe for white cake. Used gel coloring. Looked like it was meant for writing on the cake but colored it fine. One box should have been used per pan though it said to split them up. Lesson learned. Still looks cool.
